Joe is a partner in the Audit and Assurance practice. Joe has more than fifteen years of audit and accounting experience serving multinational companies and SEC registrants in the consumer products industry and the technology, media and telecommunication industry (“TMT”). Joe has extensive experience working with clients through bond offerings and debt restructurings, SEC comment letters, reorganizations, spinoffs, acquisitions, IFRS implementations, revenue recognition standard and lease standard adoption, and internal control assessments including material weakness remediation. Joe is also the Greater Tri State Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) Leader and holds an additional leadership role on the national TMT ESG subject matter experts' team. In these roles, Joe has focused on assisting companies with sustainability and ESG governance, risk assessment, strategy alignment, measurement, reporting and assurance services as it relates to ESG. Joe assists the Deloitte Audit Innovation Group with a focus in audit analytics, leveraging advanced technology and leading practices specific to audit analytics and data visualization to drive strategic benefits in the areas of audit quality, efficiency, and value. Additionally, Joe assists the Deloitte Digital Controllership team by working with companies to harness innovation and technology to fundamentally transform the controllership role and add greater value to their organization.
