Cheryl Kimberling

Cheryl Gray Kimberling, PhD, is president of The Multicultural Alliance.  She earned a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Education from the University of Memphis and a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary.   In 1988 she received her PhD from the University of North Texas.  Her research and teaching interests focus on a number of key issues relating to gender and work in American society, among them is women’s participation in non-traditional careers.  Dr. Kimberling has been teaching sociology at the university level since 1976 and currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the sociology department at TCU. 
 
Representing the Multicultural Alliance to the broader community since 2006, she presents workshops and is frequently invited to speak to audiences on the mission of building inclusive communities. Dr. Kimberling has received numerous awards and recognition for her achievements throughout the years and continues to be involved with many local and national professional and civic organizations.
