Dr. Jennifer Bannister is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Dallas. She began teaching at the University of Dallas in 2016, after completing her PhD in Accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington. She received a BBA in Accounting and Finance and her Master's in Accounting at TCU. Prior to transitioning to academia, she worked in international tax at Sabre Corporation. Dr. Bannister has several publications in academic accounting journals and has presented numerous papers at American Accounting Association conferences, primarily focusing on capital markets and foreign private issuers.
