Mr. Picerno joined Barnabas Health as the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer in May 2009.
In his current role as Chief Operating & Financial Officer, Mr. Picerno oversees the operations of the organization including financial performance, strategic development and operations.
Mr. Picerno served in various leadership positions during his 10 years of employment at Centura Health in Englewood, Colorado, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. He was a board member of the Catholic Archdiocese of Denver, Catholic Charities and
other local and national organizations.
Prior to 1999, Mr. Picerno held positions at the Hospital Corporation of America, serving as Division Chief Financial Officer in Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia and as Chief Financial Officer of Augusta Regional Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Earlier in his career, he was System Chief Financial Officer at Lake County Healthcare Systems in Eustis, Florida and Senior Healthcare Consultant at Ernst & Young, CPAs, Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Picerno received his BS, BA in Business Management with emphasis in Accounting, from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and his Masters in Management from Colorado State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
