Naved leads EY’s Americas Financial Accounting Advisory Services Digital Practice. The practice designs, develops and implements exponential technologies such as AI/GenAI, automation, and advanced analytics in the Finance function, including support for Controllership and Record-to-Report processes (e.g., close process acceleration). The practice also supports IPOs and Finance improvement efforts. Naved has 20+ years of experience in designing and deploying Finance and performance enhancements across industries. He has led audit readiness assessments for Federal agencies, implemented advanced analytical forecasting in Life Sciences and developed digital/AI and technology roadmaps for manufacturers and retail companies.
He has also designed global Finance operating models for large consumer-packaged goods companies and retailers, supported by a host of digital technologies. Naved has spoken globally at technology conferences and has been quoted in Forbes.com. Prior to his consulting career, Naved served 10+ years in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, Mission Commander, and Flight Instructor. He trained and qualified in multiple jet aircraft and flew over 1,300 hours, with over 280 carrier landings. Naved earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Southern California.
