Petter Stensland is Chief Investment Officer of AllianceBernstein’s Energy Opportunities Group. Prior to assuming this role, he was a portfolio manager, and before that, he was a senior high-yield analyst for seven years, covering telecom, cable, media and the energy sector.
Before joining the firm in 2006, Stensland was an analyst at Barclays Capital, where he covered telecom, cable and media. He began his career at Lehman Brothers, working in investment banking and various strategy functions.
Stensland holds a BS in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a CFA charterholder.
