Mr. Richard Gould

Richard Gould joined Wells Fargo Corporate Banking’s Energy Group in ­2002­, managing a lending portfolio of exploration and production, midstream, and refining companies. During his tenure, his portfolio commitments grew from approximately $200 million to $1.5 billion. Rich was named to his current position in January ­2013.
 
Rich holds a BA in international relations and economics from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from UCLA. Upon his graduation in 1984, Rich joined Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company in Chicago. At Continental, he went through the Wholesale Bank Credit Training Program, spending time in both Houston and Los Angeles. He joined Westpac Banking Corporation in Los Angeles in 1987, and moved with Westpac to Houston in 1989. Rich left Westpac to join Mellon Bank in 1994, and then spent five years with Societe Generale in their Houston office.
 
In ­2000 he joined Dynegy as director of corporate finance, working on bank and public financings, derivatives transactions, and an equity offering. In ­2002­ Mr. Gould joined Wells Fargo’s Houston office.
 
Rich is a member of the Houston Producers Forum and the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA).
