Matt is a Managing Director based in Protiviti’s Seattle office, having joined in January 2021. He was previously at
EY where he spent over 14 years serving both public and private organizations ranging from high growth early stage
to large multinational organizations. Matt’s passions are bridging networks and collaborating on solutions to
empower people and businesses to reach their full potential.
Matt leads the Business Performance Improvement, Managed Solutions and Public Company Transformation
practices in the Pacific Northwest. Areas of focus include process improvement and controls remediation, accounting
advisory and financial reporting, public company transformation, design and implementation of internal controls and
ongoing SOX compliance outsourcing and co sourcing. Matt also assists clients with managed solutions needs,
combining the consulting capabilities of Protiviti and talent solutions of Robert Half (Parent Company). He also
collaborates with colleagues to provide various other business solutions, including technology consulting, system
design and implementation, automation, post merger integration, and risk and compliance services.
Matt holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and is an active Certified Public
Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
