Katie Midla is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Accounting & Reporting Advisory practice where she specializes in SOX readiness and modernization, IPO readiness, and complex IFRS and US GAAP accounting. Katie has 10 years of public accounting experience within the Consumer and Life Sciences Industries. She served for 3 years within the London Capital Markets Group. There she worked on projects such as cross-border transactions, complex IFRS and US GAAP accounting, US IPOs and SPAC transactions, and SEC and PCAOB subject matter expert to PCAOB audits across North South East Europe. Prior to her time in London, she served for 7 years on audits of SEC registrants across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. She has in-depth PCAOB experience including reviewing domestic and foreign SEC filings and evaluating SOX internal controls. Katie is a licensed CPA and both US GAAP and IFRS certified. She lives in Indianapolis.
