Joyce Reitman specializes in advising and leading emerging companies, who are creating new markets with advanced technology. Joyce has founded five companies; as CEO founder of four companies, EVP and CFO founder of one company. Two ventures were sold to publicly traded companies, one was VC funded and others with seed funding raised. She has been a commercialization advisor for the NSF/SBIR program, and an advisor to dozens more. Her latest venture was as CEO of Motionloft (a Mark Cuban company) and grew it into a globally recognized technology company using computer vision and edge processing sensors. She is currently a portfolio advisor for Mark Cuban companies (reporting to Mark Cuban).
Joyce’s focus areas at the CEO level include: Strategic and operational direction for business model scale and revenue generation; product development and launch; go to market sales and marketing; business development strategic alliances and partnerships plus channel development; international expansion, Operational finance, manufacturing. Organizational structure, hiring, team building. Fund raising activities.
Joyce has a BA from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She lives in San Francisco with her husband.
