Mr. Reynaldo Arellano

Reynaldo Arellano provides CFO consulting services to privately held companies from the start-up phase through IPO.  Rey is very hands-on and approaches his work with innovation, intelligence, integrity, and energy.  The team at his firm handles a wide variety of engagements such as: recurring transactional bookkeeping; accounting period close; FP&A; audit preparation and representation; tax compliance, representation and resolution; debt or equity transactions and restructure.
 
Rey has been the CFO of software, wireless communications, and light manufacturing companies as well as a large non-profit.  He has done several debt restructurings, raised over $50M of VC and PE capital, launched offices or subsidiaries domestically and internationally.
 
Rey earned his BA in Accounting from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA) with membership in the honorary accounting society of Beta Alpha Psi then began his career at Coopers & Lybrand (San Francisco, CA).  In addition to having his active California CPA license, he also has the AICPA designations of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), as well as inactive NASD Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and an inactive California Life Insurance license. 
 
Rey is the immediate past-president of the Financial Executives International (FEI) San Francisco Bay Area chapter (www.financialexecutives.org) and also has served on the board of the California Society of CPAs (www.calcpa.org).  He was named one of the Most Influential Bay Area Latinos by the SFHCC and SF Business Times.  He was a competitive triathlete for over 20 years and resides in San Francisco.
