Dr. Patrick Burtch

Patrick Burtch has served with the City of Maumee since February of 2020. He returned to the area after serving as a City Manager in Michigan for 33 years. He grew up in Waterville, Graduated from Anthony Wayne High School, and attended the University of Toledo.
 
He served as the City Manager of Jackson, Michigan since May of 2011 and also served as the City Manager of Dundee Michigan before leaving for Jackson.

Dr. Burtch’s education includes:

  • (PhD) in Public Policy &Administration

  • Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Toledo

  • Bachelor of Science (BSA) in Political Science, also from the University of Toledo

He is known for his extension experience in economic development, authoring Jackson’s Overall Economic Development Plan which served as the impetus from the revitalization of Jackson’s urban core culminating in leveraging over 105 million in private investment in the downtown. He is also known for his extensive work to locate Cabela’s and the new Chrysler engine plant in Dundee.
