Samuel Michalove

Samuel Michalove is a Senior Investment Advisor in PNC’s Institutional Asset Management, team based in Phoenix, AZ.   As a senior investment advisor for PNC Institutional Asset Management® (PNC IAM), Samuel works exclusively to maintain strong and collaborative relationships with PNC IAM’s largest OCIO clients, representing retirement, nonprofit, foundation and corporate assets. Samuel has spent his career helping organizations and institutional investors design and implement multi-asset investment portfolios. His expertise is in areas of alternative assets, risk management, portfolio construction, investment policy design, and sustainable investing. 

Prior to joining PNC, Samuel served as the Director of Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management for Arizona State University Enterprise Partners’ $1.5B investment program. He was responsible for the development and implementation of investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk analytics, and alternative investment due diligence. Samuel started his career at Vanguard, most recently serving in their Institutional Investment group where he worked with non-profit, healthcare, corporate, and pension clients.

Samuel is an investment committee member of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix and an active member of the Phoenix CFA Society. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W.P. Carey Business School at Arizona State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder.
