A Bay Area native, Bob’s career in the employee benefits business spans more than thirty years. Since 2000, Bob has consulted with employers on benefit plan design, finance, compliance and administration.
Bob specializes in creating an integrated strategy of accountable plan funding, population health management and intelligent plan design for mid-to large-sized employers. Previously, Bob held positions in sales and sales management for group insurance carriers, Anthem Health and Assurant, in Northern California.
Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1984. He is the fourth in the Carrington family to carry on the proud Cal tradition.
Bob’s family includes his wife Debbie and two grown children – Caitlin and Tyler. Away from work, Bob is a fitness and outdoors enthusiast. He packs his weekends and free time with running, mountain biking, paddle sports and time on his yoga mat.
