Mr. Robert Rough

Robert has spent more than thirty years as an intermediary, investor, senior executive, consultant and board member in the middle market space. He has worked on over one hundred transactions, often with primary responsibility for all aspects of the transaction, from deal initiation through acquisition integration.

Having both sold and recapitalized companies in which he was an executive and had ownership, Robert understands the importance of selecting the right financial or strategic partner. Having run a private equity fund and led corporate strategic acquisitions and integrations, Robert knows how to position client companies to maximize the probability of a close at a good price. His operating experience, often under high growth or difficult conditions, enhances Robert’s ability to convey a company’s story in the best light while thoroughly presenting pertinent facts.

Robert lives in Plano with his wife Lori; they have two adult children. He is a member of the Southwest Lacrosse Officials Association, officiating boys’ high school games. Robert is a member of the DFW Chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, where he is on the board. A frequent speaker on corporate finance matters, Robert is a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies programs. Robert is a FINRA registered representative holding Series 63, 65, 79 and 82 designations.
