Sean King is a Principal and one of the Founders of CIC Services, where he serves as In-House Counsel. Additionally, Sean serves as a Principal of SageView Advisory group. With a background in accounting, law, taxation and insurance, Sean is uniquely qualified to work in the captive insurance and financial services industries. His specialties are creatively structuring retirement plans and managing captives to assist his clients in achieving important business, retirement, estate planning, tax savings and asset protection objectives.
Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of Tennessee (UT). He also earned his Master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation, as well as his Doctor of Jurisprudence (law) degree from UT. Sean holds active licenses as a CPA, attorney and insurance agent.
In addition to being a pioneer in the small captive insurance industry and a small business champion, Sean is a Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency early adopter and former general counsel of Tennessee Bitcoin Alliance.
Sean currently resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico with his wife and soul mate, Cindy. He is the proud father of identical twin sons, Shelton and Logan, and a daughter, Clara.
