As the National Enterprise Risk Leader at EY Canada, Jas Hothi leads a team of professionals across the country supporting key solutions including enterprise risk management, internal audit, regulatory agendas and internal controls. She is also responsible for setting the strategy and vision to remain the fastest growing enterprise risk consulting practice in Canada. She specializes in the delivery and innovation of risk, regulatory and compliance mandates across the three lines of defence. She has led multi-year transformational risk mandates for some of the largest organizations globally. Prior to this, she founded and led EY Canada’s Financial Services Process and Control Practice.
She frequently advises corporate boards, executives, and business leaders on risk mitigation strategies to address the changing digital and geopolitical landscape.
Keenly interested in the potential of innovative technologies to transform regulatory risk and control mandates, she has led teams that are pioneering the use of robotics processing automation (RPA), analytics and artificial intelligence tools to enable advanced regulatory compliance strategies and systems.
She is a Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario and has earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa.
