Denis Jacob is the Chief Audit Executive, Compliance ESG & Investigations at General Electric Company (GE), that for more than 125 years has invented the future of industry. Today, GE is best known for its work in the Power, Renewable Energy, Aviation and Healthcare industries.
Prior to joining GE, he worked for Orthofix, where he held the position of VP, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer.
He previously worked for Becton Dickinson, where he held the position of Global Director, Ethics & Compliance, Covidien (later acquired by Medtronic), as Compliance Manager for South Latin America, and Becton Dickinson, as Corporate Internal Audit Manager, conducting numerous international financial, operational and forensic audit projects, including, but not limited to, ethics and compliance investigations.
Prior to joining BD, he also worked for Deloitte and Citibank Brazil.
He is certified in Nonprofit Governance by the University of Texas at Dallas, as a Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) by the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and in Healthcare Compliance by the Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA). He also has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University, a Graduate degree in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and completed his MBA program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil.
