Elise Parker

 
Elise has 13 years of experience and serving clients across a variety of industries, including technology, not-for-profit, consumer products, financial and professional services throughout the West Region. Her expertise is in working with large, complex engagements for both public and private companies.  She has expertise in helping her clients to resolve complex technical accounting issues and working with her audit teams to efficiently tailor audit responses to risk for unique client circumstances.  She is a member of Grant Thornton’s not-for-profit team and higher education team which means she actively participates in relevant training development and thought leadership. She is also a champion of the firm’s Lumen and LEAP programs which means she pilots and provides input to the advancement of audit innovation, including use of new tools and techniques in applying the standards. Elise is actively involved in developing internal training programs within the Firm to further enhance industry and technical expertise. In the community, Elise is on the Board of Anonymous Theatre Company in Portland, OR and the Advisory Committee for We Myndful. She previously served on Santa Clara University’s Accounting Advisory Board.

Elise is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Oregon and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
