Mike Haynes is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VIP, a leading executive search and consulting firm. Mike’s experience includes over fifteen years of executive recruiting in accounting and finance. Prior to VIP, he joined a local boutique firm in Dallas as a partner in 2000. While there, he managed the direct hire division and became one of the firm’s top producers. In late 2006, Mike was an integral participant in a successful transaction involving selling the firm to a private equity backed company.
Mike’s recruiting career started with a large national search firm where he was promoted to Senior Executive Recruiter responsible for training and mentoring new recruiters. He was also honored as a participant in the company’s high intensity training program and was recognized for his outstanding mentor program. He received the Superstars award for being one of that firm’s top recruiters nationwide. Mike began his career as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young, and he amassed over six years of accounting and financial management experience with Quest Diagnostics (formerly Corning Clinical Labs). Mike holds a Bachelor of Science of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas. Mike is driven to serve both clients and candidates with measurable, impactful results. He now leads a team of 15 executive recruiters and four client service directors, working together to serve the resource needs of growing and established companies in the DFW Metroplex.
