David Altemir has over 30 years of professional experience in engineering, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain management, and enterprise IT. His diverse experience has spanned aircraft, UAVs, rotorcraft, spacecraft, medical devices, contract manufacturing, consumer products, food manufacturing, and manufactured homes at nearly all levels and functional areas. After his early NASA engineering experience, Mr. Altemir helped manufacturing companies, large and small, meet growing customer demand with on-time delivery and high quality. His career has been marked by developing and implementing numerous transformational improvements.
Mr. Altemir holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Master of Materials Science from Rice University, and MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Sensei and the author of "Lean MRP: Establishing a Manufacturing Pull System for Shop Floor Execution Using ERP or APS".
