Chris Slusher

Chris Slusher is a Managing Director with CIBC. As the head of the bank’s rates desk, Chris works with the bank’s corporate and institutional clients to develop and implement strategies to manage their interest rate risk. He is also the author of the bank’s daily capital markets update and is a frequent speaker on the economy and corporate risk management topics, having served as a featured speaker at the National Association of Corporate Treasurers' and Association of Financial Professionals' national conferences.
 
Chris has over 25 years of experience in Capital Markets and Commercial Banking. Prior to joining the PrivateBank in 2008, Chris led North American corporate derivatives sales for ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank and previously held positions of Fleet Bank, Wells Fargo, and J.P. Morgan & Co. Chris holds an MBA in Finance and BS in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.
 
Chris serves as a volunteer with Junior Achievement and the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago and is a board member of the Chicagoland Methodist Senior Services, a 115 year old nonprofit organization that provides a housing and healthcare services for low-income seniors on the north side of Chicago.
