Kendall Helfenbein began his career with 10 years in public accounting, starting at KPMG for 4 years then with two other large non-national CPA firms. He also has 24-year experience as CFO for three large companies with retail presence in financial services, international restaurant operations and healthcare. He has three college degrees including a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from West Texas A&M, Master of Accounting Information Management and an MBA both from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has been active in the Dallas CPA Society for 30 years and is past VP and Director. He is active in the TXCPA including serving on the Board of Directors for over 20 years and currently serves on their Professional Standards Committee. He is active in Financial Executives International Dallas Chapter and is past President. He was DBJ CFO of the Year 2014, DCEO Outstanding CFO of the Year 2015 and named in DCEO Dallas 500 Most Influential Business Leaders in 2016. He has been a member of Toastmasters for 25 years and competes annually in Triathlons. He has also studied body language for 25 years and has given several speeches on the topic in the past.
