Duncan W. Edwards

Special Agent Duncan Edwards began his FBI career in February 1992 as a Special Agent to the Phoenix Division, Flagstaff Resident Agency (FRA), where he worked all violations, most often violent crime and criminal enterprise matters. While there he served on the Phoenix Division’s SWAT team and was the Case Agent on a nationally renowned Hells Angels Motorcycle Club criminal enterprise drug investigation. In January 2006, Special Agent Edwards was promoted to a Program Manager Supervisory Special Agent position in the Gang Criminal Enterprise Section at FBI Headquarters. Thereafter, he diversified himself working FBI’s Cyber Division, Computer Intrusion Section. After three years at FBI Headquarters, SA Edwards was promoted to a field desk in the San Antonio Division, Austin RA managing and supervising White Collar Crime (WCC) matters, encompassing the criminal programs of Public Corruption, Civil Rights and Financial Crimes. Notable successes were the prosecution of the former Police Chief of the Jarrell Police Department and the prosecution of the former ArthroCare CEO, CFO and other executive managers. SA Edwards transitioned to work Counter Intelligence matters and now currently handles Computer Intrusion matters. SA Edwards is also a certified Crisis Management Coordinator (CMC), firearms instructor and certified FBI SWAT operator. Currently, he is the InfraGard Coordinator for the Austin Members Alliance, Austin, Texas Chapter. 
 
Prior to joining the FBI, Edwards was employed as a Deputy United States Marshal in the Southern District of California and in the District of Hawaii for nearly 5 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also played four years of Division I baseball, winning three consecutive Ivy League championships and awarded a spot in the university’s baseball hall of fame.
