Julia joined the company in June 2022 as Vice President and Corporate Secretary, responsible for corporate governance, securities compliance and anti-bribery/anti-corruption efforts.
Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Julia served as Executive Counsel, Corporate, Securities and Finance at General Electric Company. She started her legal career as an associate in the Boston office of Ropes & Gray.
Before attending law school, Julia served as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy for eight years. She earned her law degree from Boston College Law School, an MEM from Old Dominion University and a bachelor’s degree from Rice University.
