Denise Lucas is Director & ESG Assistant Controller at IBM.
Prior to this role, Denise and various finance and accounting roles. Most recently, Denise was the Director, Accounting Policy & External Reporting. Denise was also in IBM’s Investor Relations department. Denise led the $34 billion acquisition of Red Hat for IBM Accounting and assisted in the implementation of ASC 606 and ASC 842.
Previously, Denise spent nine years at Deloitte. Beginning her career in the assurance practice then spent two years in Deloitte's National Office Accounting Services group where she focused on revenue, leases, and business combinations.
