Ms. Kirby Hernandez

Kirby is a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young LLP's Business Tax Advisory practice in San Antonio. Kirby has 10 years of experience in public accounting dealing with a range of tax advisory services related to federal and state research tax credits, Section 174 research deduction, fixed asset analysis, Section 199 deduction, cost segregation services, transaction cost analysis and accounting methods and inventory. In addition, Kirby has significant experience assisting companies with tax controversies through Internal Revenue Service examinations. Most recently, Kirby has provided clients with tax reform modeling analyses with potential impacts to a client's tax position due to the changing tax landscape. Kirby serves clients in a variety of industries including technology, telecommunications, life sciences and retail. Kirby received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master's in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
