Matt Durkin is a Senior Vice President with Robert Half responsible for client development in both the New York and New Jersey markets. Based in the company’s Jersey City office, his focus is cultivating client relationships for the company’s three financial lines of business: Robert Half Finance & Accounting, Accountemps and Robert Half Management Resources. Matt has been involved in over 4600 accounting and finance placements in the NYC/NJ marketplace and is consistently recognized as one of Robert Half’s top performers.
Prior to joining Robert Half over 20 years ago, Matt worked for UBS/Paine Weber in the Commission Accounting area.
Matt is an active participant with many local financial organizations. He is a member of his local Parish Finance Council and is the Robert Half representative for the North Jersey Chapter of the Financial Executive Institute (FEI). He is also a frequent speaker with networking groups such as the CFO Studio and Grant Thornton’s Financial Executives in Transition, presenting on various finance and accounting trends.
Matt earned his BS from Marist College. He is a lifelong Jersey Shore native and resides there with his wife and three children.
