Lindy Ellis is a partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice in Chicago. She has 25 years of public accounting experience including 22 years serving EY FAAS and Audit clients, and three years as part of Ernst & Young’s Global IFRS Services – Professional Practice Group in London .
She specializes in providing insight and analysis regarding accounting and reporting matters under US GAAP, IFRS and nonfinancial reporting, primarily for consumer sector companies. She is also EY’s regional FAAS Consumer sector leader.
Lindy has supported clients on their ESG reporting journey through regulatory reporting readiness, ESG metrics process and controls enhancement and ESG data assessment engagements.
Lindy earned a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana and is a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the states of Illinois and Indiana. She is a member of the AICPA and IL CPA Society, and serves as a Director on the Board of the IL CPA Society.
