Sandra Arkell, EVP and Mastercard’s Global Controller, leads the Company’s accounting, and financial reporting and controls function, including the recently formed ESG reporting and controlling team. Prior to taking on the ESG Controlling function, Sandy also served as Mastercard’s Global Policy Director and led the Company’s Operational Risk Management and Business Process Excellence teams to drive training and awareness in continuous process improvement and to assist in the execution of strategic and operational priorities.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Sandy was Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV), an $8 billion diversified global manufacturer. Sandy began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and subsequently has held various positions in finance and accounting in the fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing sectors.
