Jon Alpert has been the CFO of entrepreneurial companies in consumer, food and beverage industries, both privately owned and private equity owned, for over 24 years. Currently, he is the CFO and Treasurer of Gusmer Enterprises, Inc., a company that provides filters and fermentation aids to the wine, pharmaceuticals, beer, juice and distilling industries. In addition, Jon served on the Board of Directors and consulted for KeVita, Inc., a sparkling probiotics beverage company in Oxnard, CA from 2011 through 2016.
Jon has led the Career Advancement Group and been on the board of the NJ FEI since 2000 where he has worked to help potential members and existing members in transition to improve their communications, networking, management skills .Today’s CFO has to be a skilled salesman and communicator as well as finance and accounting expert.
