Mike is RSMs Atlanta Tax Practice Leader, and focuses on providing practical, tax efficient structures and strategies to middle market businesses and their owners. His extensive professional background in public accounting, along with his strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills, complement RSM’s already diversified tax team.
Mike’s expertise in navigating tax laws and regulations has helped clients develop successful short and long term tax strategies for their businesses. His experience includes tax planning for C and S corporations, partnerships, and LLC’s; corporate structuring and restructuring; mergers and acquisitions tax planning; and representation before the Internal Revenue Service. Mike has served clients in the manufacturing, distribution, private equity, services, technology, insurance, and retail industries.
Prior to joining RSM, Mike was a Partner with Moore Colson & Company, PC (in Atlanta), and a Senior Tax Manager with Ernst & Young LLP (in Atlanta, Birmingham, Washington DC, and Mobile).
