Abigail Kinnison is the Director of Capital Programs for VIA Metropolitan Transit. She has been with the agency for 14 years in various positions in two divisions Fleet & Facilities and Strategic Planning & Development. In her role as Director, she provides oversight and supervision of the Real Estate, Engineering, and Passenger Amenities departments, as well as leads coordination efforts with TxDOT, the City of San Antonio, suburban cities, and other agency partners on their capital projects.
Abigail is a native San Antonian and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. In between her degrees, Abigail lived in Washington, DC working in the executive and legislative branches.
