As the Central Texas Financial Accounting Advisory Leader, Jessica has served as an advisor for both small start-up to large multinational public and private companies. Jessica has over 20 years of experience with 10 years as an audit professional and over 10 years as an advisor. She has focused on various industries, including technology, SaaS, electric vehicles, telecom, manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, and consumer.
Jessica has extensive experience with helping companies with complex accounting, including topics such as revenue recognition, equity/share compensation, debt transactions, VIEs/consolidation, tradenames, lease accounting, internally developed software capitalization, pre-launch inventory, and research and development expense and accruals. Additionally, Jessica’s experience involves transformation events such as assisting with public company readiness via an IPO or SPAC transaction, business combinations, common control transactions, divestitures, equity/debt offerings, other complex transactions. She has assisted with the adoption of ESG/Sustainability standards and helping companies understand their long-term value communications.
Jessica is an alumnus of University of Texas in San Antonio and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accountancy and Information Systems. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and is a member of the AICPA and TSCPA.
