John Ruckstuhl is a Managing Director in the Transaction Advisory Services Group. John has more than 20 years of experience advising private equity and venture capital firms, as well as their portfolio companies, on domestic and international transactions. His experience also includes financial analysis for debt restructuring, carve-out transactions, reverse due diligence (including quality of earnings assessment and preparation for sale) and analyzing financial projections, cash flow models and working capital.
John has diverse experience with both public and private clients across a variety of industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing and distribution, business services, health care, software, technology, and retail. He has private company experience as the controller of a global provider of relocation management services to Fortune 500 companies, responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and compliance for offices in the U.S., U.K., China (Hong Kong) and Canada, as well as global treasury management and transaction processing.
Prior to joining the firm, John launched and led a private equity growth initiative in the New York City area for a southeast regional accounting firm. His accomplishments also include the completion of several strategic acquisitions and related post-merger integration.
