Daniel Spencer is a Consulting Manager for hotels in the Global Business Consulting division at American Express GBT. Daniel started out in the hotel industry managing revenue and online distribution for Red Lion Hotels. His career then took him into the Online segment of travel working for Travelocity where he managed a supplier team in the Northwest. He went on to work in the consortia segment where he managed annual RFP’s and media sales for hotel chains. Daniel has also taught hospitality courses online and gained business management experience outside of the industry.
He holds an undergraduate degree form Brigham Young University Idaho in Finance and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Daniel resides with his family in Rigby, ID where he spends time with his family and enjoys the outdoors. Daniel loves the travel industry and working with AmexGBT clients on hotel sourcing and program management.
