Born in southern California, Javier Guerra moved to San Antonio Texas when he was three years old. He has served on the board of numerous non-profit organizations focusing on technology, project management, and social issues. Currently contributing to his community as a commissioner’s court appointee on the Bexar County Child Welfare Board and as a member of the process and data committee.
After years of providing technology services and solutions to enterprise level corporations, he made a transition to better express his creative side and make greater impact for positive change. He chose the entrepreneurial path and has co-founded multiple organization. To mention one, TechQuarry is a people-centric technology solutions company devoted to holistically solving problems through culture, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Javier’s increasing passion for helping people and making organizational improvements has led him to more recent endeavors. He took a deep dive in educating himself on the advancements related to blockchain technology and decided to create a unique blockchain consultancy in 2017. BlocQuarry, is a holistic blockchain solutions provider focused on helping mid-size to enterprise level organizations capitalize on innovations in blockchain.
A few of his other projects recently made public include: HumanIT, eIOT (emotional Intelligence of Things), and SmartCulture. These concepts employ a methodology that merges the fields of information technology, neurobiology, psychology, and physiology to make a lasting positive impact in others. His team is busy laying the framework for related publications, toolkits, and technologies focused on using these models to simplifying problems and spark action in solving issues plaguing business and society. Having been blessed with years of self-reflection and overcoming inner struggles, Javier aspires to be the change he wants to see in the world.
