Monica Bambury

Monica is a Senior Manager in the Strategic Federal Tax Services and focuses on R&D tax credit, ASC 842 leasing, accounting method, and fixed asset related services.

Monica has more than 9 years of accounting experience, and has been with Grant Thornton for over 7 years. She has worked with a variety of clients to calculate and document federal and state R&D credits. Specifically, Monica has experience evaluating opportunities with prototypes, contract-related activities, and internal use software for inclusion in the R&D credit. Monica also has experience in ASC 842 lease implementations for both public and private clients, accounting method evaluations, and fixed asset analyses.

Monica has served clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, engineering, construction, and food and beverage.
