Emily Buxton Taylor is Chief Financial Officer of Naturally Slim. Taylor has more than 20 years of finance experience with a particular concentration on healthcare and technology-focused companies for both private equity-owned and publicly-traded companies. She has a passion for leveraging technology to improve lives while decreasing the overall spend of healthcare.
Prior to joining Naturally Slim, Emily served as Chief Financial Officer of Paradigm Tax, a property tax consulting firm focused on leveraging technology to maximize customer satisfaction, Chief Financial Officer of National HME, a technology-enabled durable medical equipment company, Chief Accounting Officer of Northstar Anesthesia, a leading national management company, and Chief Financial Officer of Orthofix Medical, Inc, a global medical device company.
Throughout her career, Taylor has established a reputation for building engaged and passionate teams and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth.
Taylor received her accounting degree from Columbia College and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI) and National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is a NACD Governance Fellow. She serves as a committee member of the Private Equity Company Special Interest Group of the Dallas Chapter of FEI. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Camp Summit, a barrier-free outdoor camp for children and adults.
