John Barbagallo is a Managing Director in the Accounting Group of KPMG’s National Office - Department of Professional Practice (DPP), in New York, New York, and has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. He currently serves as the leader of DPP’s Technical Accounting and Regulatory Presentation team. With experience serving both public and private companies in the asset management, manufacturing, real estate, and professional service industries, John’s area of expertise is leases, consolidations, revenue recognition, and investment company and investment management accounting. John also authors various DPP technical accounting publications and serves as a speaker at various conferences, CFO Financial Forum webcasts, and KPMG internal trainings.
