Meredith is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. She earned her PhD in Finance from Louisiana State University. Prior to earning her doctorate, Meredith worked in financial services for four years. Her research interests include financial intermediation, fixed income, and exchange-traded funds. Her recent writing focuses on informational explanations of crises. Her paper, “Market Dynamics among the ABX Index, Credit Default Swaps, and Mortgage-Backed Bonds,” was a semifinalist for best paper in Financial Markets and Institutions at the Financial Management Association (FMA) annual meeting in 2018. She is a CFA charterholder.
