Background
Jon has worked in venture and private equity for nearly 20 years and currently serves as Senior Director of UNT’s Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship and is a Managing Director with New York based OmniCap, LLC focusing on secondary private equity transactions and equity raises. Previously he launched an advisory firm in Tokyo (merged with OmniCap in 2015), was a Senior Group Internal Auditor at Nestlé, managed a venture capital portfolio for a Hong Kong family office and served in the United States Marine Corps. He has held various board and committee seats, lived and worked in Japan, Hong Kong, Belgium and Switzerland.
Education
Jon holds Series 7 & 63 licenses, earned his BS in Engineering Physics at the University of North Texas, an MBA from Vlerick Management School and completed the Oxford University joint Private Equity Programme in China.
