Melissa is a graduate of Maryville College where she earned her BA in Political Science and a graduate of University of Phoenix where she earned her MBA in Accounting. Her career has allowed her to work for companies like Ruby Tuesday, Inc., Marriott International, and Accenture. In 2015, she became the opening Director of Finance for Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort where she set up the accounting, finance, and IT functions. Today, Melissa leads a finance team responsible for Financial Reporting, Strategic Planning, Annual Budgeting, Quarterly Forecasting, Development and Analytics. The scope of her work includes Dollywood Theme Park, Dollywood’s Splash Country, Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Dollywood Development. Her philanthropy work includes previously serving as President on the Board of Directors for Kingdom Design Ministries, Committee Chair for Fantasy of Trees, along with being active in ministries at her church.
