Ms. Janis Jesse

Janis is a global business executive with 25 years CIO, COO and shared services experience in global Fortune 100 manufacturing, healthcare, utilities, professional services, and education businesses. Her sector experience includes electronics, for profit and not for profit healthcare systems, defense, forest products, packaging, distribution, secondary and charter school education, and all areas of information technology.
  
Janis’ broad experience has led to concrete successes in making the complex world of business and technology alignment achievable and repeatable.  These successes come with improved top and bottom line results, simpler and more cost-effective IT environments, faster delivery of new capabilities, and technology enabled solutions creating sustainable business change and value.
 
Janis has personally led and been the accountable executive for transformation efforts driven by strategic growth, industry consolidation (mergers and acquisitions), cost efficiency, customer engagements, digital transformations, government and regulatory changes, and technology disruptors.   Through these transformations, Janis gathered a set of practices and capabilities that can be leveraged to help businesses of any size improve and meet strategic or operational objectives.   These practices and others brought by the talent of Aventine Hill form the core of the Business and Technology practice.
 
Prior to stepping into the role of Managing Partner of Business and Technology, Janis served for two years as a CIO level consultant for Aventine Hill where she held the positions of Interim CIO and Portfolio Vice President for a large municipally owned utility.  Her industry experience comes from the hands-on roles she held with Texas Instruments, International Paper, Baylor Scott and White Healthcare, Memphis City Schools, and PH Glatfelter.

Janis holds a Master of Science in Administration-Accounting from University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management from Texas Tech University.
