Cynthia began her career as a sales and use tax specialist in 1999. Her focus is on multi-state sales and use tax matters across a wide range of industries. Cynthia provides sales and use tax consulting in various areas of sales and use tax including multi-state sales tax returns compliance, nexus studies, voluntary disclosures, taxability research, audit defense, managed audits, reverse sales and use tax audits, M&A due diligence reviews, ASC450 reserves calculations and internal controls documentation. She spent several years as a sales and use tax consultant at Big 4 accounting firms and has also managed the sales tax departments at Fortune 500 companies in the technology and entertainment industries. Cynthia is a member of the Institute for Professional in Taxation and holds the Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) sales tax professional designation.
