Kevin Baril is a Principal in Grant Thornton’s Advisory practice, based in the San Diego office. He serves as our National Leader for the Information Technology Strategy & Management practice which includes our Program Management Office, IT Strategy & Architecture, Digital Innovation and Data Strategy capabilities.
Kevin has more than 25 years of management and technology consulting experience focused on strategy, technology transformation and systems implementation. Kevin recently served as Grant Thornton International’s (GTIL) interim Chief Information Officer. Kevin spent 13 years as a vice president of Global Business Services at IBM where he strategized, organized and lead the identification, advancement and development of profitable business growth in attractive segments of the North American market. Most recently Kevin oversaw go-to-market for North America for IBM’s Global Business Services Enterprise Business unit. Previously, he was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Management Consulting Services group, focused on systems consulting. Kevin also spent six years with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, two years resident at headquarters in Germany, working in a cost accounting and product pricing capacity.
