Randy Gibb

Randy Gibb is the dean of the Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University. He joined GCU in 2014 and has helped expand the business college to 30 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.  He strives to exemplify servant leadership and inspire GCU students to use business as a force for good and business as ministry.

Prior to Grand Canyon University, Dr. Gibb served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years. He retired as a Colonel in 2012 after a variety of operational aviation assignments, including commander of two flying units. He also served as Department Chair at the U.S. Air Force Academy's Behavioral Science & Leadership Department and Senior Military Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering and Management, Air Force Institute of Technology. Dr. Gibb has also held positions as an Educational Consultant for Apollo Educational Services, Apollo Group, and an Associate Professor and Chair of the Human & Environmental Systems Department in the College of Technology and Innovation at Arizona State University.  Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Gibb was a distinguished graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1986. He has a Master of Arts from the U.S. Naval Command & Staff College, and he earned his PhD and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, from Arizona State University.
