Nick Cyprus is a member of the board of directors of DigitalGlobe, Volt Information Sciences, and Trusted Media Brands. He serves as audit committee chair for all three boards. He is also on the Governance and Nominating committee for both DigitalGlobe and Volt. In addition he is also serves on the compensation committee for Volt.
Cyprus previously served as the Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for General Motors, where he spent almost seven years. During this time, he was responsible for financial reporting and shared services, as well as providing oversight for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting from 2006 to 2009.
Prior to joining GM in 2006, Cyprus was the Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Interpublic Group, one of the world's largest advertising and marketing services company. Before Interpublic, he held positions of increasing responsibility at AT&T for more than 22 years. His most recent role at AT&T was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer from 1999 to 2004.
Cyprus is a member of Financial Executives International (FEI) and serves as an advisory member of FEI's Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR). In 2000 he was named Financial Executive of the Year by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and was recognized as Outstanding Business Leader of the Year by the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants in 1999.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.B.A. from New York University, Stern School of Business. Cyprus is an active Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.
