Tom Brady is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at SkySpecs, an Ann Arbor, Michigan based startup working to make clean, renewable electricity more affordable through automation. SkySpecs envisions a world where renewables are ubiquitous and generation facilities are run by robots in the sky, on the ground, and in the cloud.
Prior to SkySpecs, Tom finished two degree programs in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he co-founded the Michigan Autonomous Aerial Vehicles team. Tom spent most of his college nights and weekends working on autonomous indoor robots with the team.
Outside of work, Tom is a homebrewer, an improv comedian, and a finance enthusiast. He enjoys traveling and doing city food tours with his wife, Adrienne, and son, Killian.
Tom’s claims to fame include being mistakenly made the 7th highest ranked person on Crunchbase, between 6th place Vladimir Putin and 8th place Lebron James. He also remains uncertain whether he accidentally cancelled the New England Patriots quarterback’s brunch reservations at Zingermans.
