Trump Considers $100B Tax Cut for Wealthy

The Trump administration is studying a plan to cut capital gains taxes by $100 billion over 10 years by factoring in inflation, it was reported Monday. Treasury could redefine “cost” for calculating capital gains, allowing taxpayers to adjust the initial value of an asset, such as a home or a share of stock, for inflation when they sell them.

Advice From America's Best Employer for Women

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to rank America's best employers for women. Earning the No. 1 spot is Principal Financial Group of Des Moines, Iowa. The investment management and insurance firm employs 9,978 U.S. workers, 59% of whom are women. Kerry Gumm, the company's director of human resources strategy says “You can have a holistic life if you’re part of this organization. I’ve not felt the need to compromise in any way.”

Ex-Seagate CFO to Join Tesla as CAO

Dave Morton, a former CFO of computer-drive maker Seagate Technology Plc., has joined Tesla as CAO. Tesla had been without a CAO since Eric Branderiz left the company for personal reasons on March 7.
